I went to see Dr. Aubert at the suggestion of a friend who was also having bladder leakage. The surgery he performed on her was to place a sling to support the bladder. She said it was about a 15 min procedure. I have been dealing with the same issue since 2009 and it has only gotten worse. I went to see Dr. Aubert and he scheduled a cystoscopy to determine if the same procedure would solve my problem. During the cystoscopy, he determined that it was my uterus that was causing the problem. It had prolapsed and had kinked the bladder. He suggested a hysterectomy followed by the sling surgery, done after the hysterectomy, but during the same operation. Since the surgery, I am a new person! Absolutely NO LEAKAGE! It is so liberating to be able to wear normal underpants and not have to worry about leaks. In addition, I have to comment on what a knowledgeable doctor he is and also that he takes his time and listens to you. I highly recommend him!!!
